Lafayette Health Awareness Forum: Our Planet, Our Health

Join host Shelagh Rogers, guest speakers Katlia Lafferty, Canada's first climate writer-in-residence; Dr. Suzanne Simard, author of "Finding the Mother Tree";  and Dr. Valeria Stoynova, co-recipient of the SIFEI grant for her work on climate-conscious prescribing. This years' LHAF will take place at Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Victoria. Join the Lafayette String Quartet as they present their final Health Forum.

The Quintets of Mozart and Brahms featuring the Clarinet as the "guest" instrument to the quartet are two of the finest, most beloved pieces ever written in the chamber music genre. Pender Harbour-LSQ with James Campbell

They will be performing the newly commissioned string quartet "All for One" by the Canadian composer Abigail Richardson-Schulte. Join the LSQ as they introduce the third newly commissioned quartet from the B.K. Weigel Legacy Project. This work "All for One" was composed by Abigail Richardson Schulte. Mozart's Quartet in B flat K 589 and Borodin's second quartet are also on the program.

LSQ in Waterloo, Ontario

Returning to their "home away from home", the LSQ is thrilled to be performing once again for the Kitchener Waterloo Chamber Music Society. This remarkable concert series offers over 55 concerts per year in the unique and intimate setting of the Music Room. Let's hope Covid allows it this season.
