LSQ returns to the Orlando Festival!

Performing Marius Flothuis Quartetto II

Dutch composer and musicologist Marius Flothuis was the artistic director of the Concertgebouw for many years. The LSQ befriended him on their first visit to the Orlando festival in 1988. He composed this quartet for them in 1992. Entitled “Fantasia”, it shows his beautiful sense of harmonic and rhythmic playfulness and luxuriousness.
