DESCRIPTION:Visit Victoria's beautiful St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church located at the corner of Douglas and Broughton Streets for the first concert of featuring Quartet Fest West's wonderful students! Six groups perform their first week's repertoire.\n\nWorks by Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn\, Antonin Dvorak\, Ludwig van Beethoven\, Joseph Haydn and Alexander Borodin.\n\n2:00 PM\, admission by donation.\n\nFor several years the University of Victoria School of Music has had a marvelous partnership with St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. One of their missions is supporting young musicians on their journey to a professional career. You will be delighted with this beautiful sanctuary's wonderful acoustics! St. Andrew's is located in the heart of Victoria\, BC\, with easy walking to many fine restaurants and ample public parking with two underground garages within two blocks of the church.
