DESCRIPTION:This exciting concert brings together the LSQ with UVIC Alumni violist Clayton Leung (Edmonton Symphony) for the exciting  Viola Quintet in B flat\, Op. 87 by Felix Mendelssohn. Canadian composer (and Edmonton native) Vivian Fung will be present as the LSQ gives the Alberta premiere of her Quartet No. 5 "SPIRALING". The LSQ will begin the program with the powerful Quartet No. 4 of Shostakovich.
